Crime Report, Pt. II: Scrap Metal, Wedding Rings and 2008 Honda Stolen

A look at recent crime in the Levittown area, reported by the Nassau County Police Department.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct. 

Hicksville

- Sometime between Nov. 8 at 10 p.m. and Nov. 9 at 12 a.m., two tires were slashed on a car on Ballpark Lane. 

On Nov. 10 at 6:35 a.m., a hospital ID badge, IPod and pocketknife was stolen from a car at the LIRR station.

- On Nov. 11 at 10 p.m., a Garmin GPS and a US savings bond was stolen from a car on Tudor Road. 

- Sometime between 8 p.m. on Nov. 12 and 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 13, a window was broken on a car on Summit Street.

- Sometime between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Nov. 7, jewelry and cash was stolen on Kuhl Avenue. 

- Sometime between 10 p.m. on Nov. 6 and 4 p.m. on Nov. 8, assorted jewelry and wedding rings were stolen on Summer Lane. 

- Sometime between 6:23 a.m. on Nov. 8 and 9 a.m. on Nov. 9, scrap metal was stolen from the LIRR station.

- Sometime between 5 p.m. on Nov. 4 and 7 a.m. on Nov. 5, GPS systems were stolen from JV Trading. 

- Sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 11 and 1 a.m. on Nov. 12, a 2008 Honda was stolen from the West Village Green.
