Crimes Nearby: Woman Stabs Boyfriend With Scissors, Jones Beach Brawl

East Meadow
- An East Meadow woman was arrested on May 28 after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend with a pair of scissors in Mineola, police said. For more details, click here.

- Arson Squad detectives arrested a Wantagh man for possession of explosives after he admitted to setting off fireworks from his Park Avenue home on the night of May 25. For more details, clickhere.
- A man reported on May 19 that someone went under his truck parked at Wantagh Park and removed a spare tire.
