Division Avenue Senior Honored As Triple Impact Competitor
The soccer captain was honored for her accomplishments on and off the field by the Positive Coaching Alliance.
LEVITTOWN, NY — Simar Parmar, a senior captain on the Division Avenue High School varsity soccer team, has been awarded the 2021 Triple Impact Competitor Scholarship.
Awarded by the Positive Coaching Alliance, student athletes shared how they are positively impacted by sports on three levels: personal mastery (making themselves better), leadership (making their teammates better) and honoring the game (making the game better).
In addition to being a captain on the girls varsity soccer, Parmar is a National Merit Commended student and member of the varsity lacrosse team. She will receive a $1,000 scholarship and be honored at a virtual scholarship awards ceremony on Nov. 17.
