Division Student Wins Rensselaer Medal for Excellence in Science and Math
The medal is awarded to juniors and carries a $60,000 scholarship for each medalist who enrolls at RPI.

Levittown’s Division Avenue High School is proud to announce that junior Savvas Papadopoulos has been awarded the Rensselaer Medal for Excellence in Science and Mathematics.
This esteemed medal is awarded to juniors who have distinguished themselves in these disciplines and carries a $60,000 merit scholarship for each medalist who enrolls at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Savvas has demonstrated a strong passion for both mathematics and science and plans to focus on biochemistry and statistics in college.
