Island Trees Softball Wins County Championship
The Bulldogs will play in the Long Island Championship on June 4.

The Island Trees girls softball team rallied from a 6-1 deficit to win 11-6 against Plainedge, capturing the Nassau County Championship at Mitchel Field on Thursday afternoon.
Alannah Basile picked up the win for the Bulldogs, while Kelly Cembrale hit a two-run single in the sixth to ignite the eight-run rally. Christie Ciaramitaro hit a two-run homer in the seventh, going 3-5 with 3 RBIs on the day.
The team goes onto to the Long Island Championship against the Suffolk County champion (TBD) on June 4, 3:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue.
