The Levittown Community Council hopes to give residents an opportunity to learn more about low-cost, quality health insurance options available through the individual marketplace.
The council and the Levittown Public Library are holding a meeting on Monday, Nov. 28, 7:30 PM in the Community Room at the library, which is located at One Bluegrass Lane, Levittown.
Elizabeth Munsky, a representative from a Long Island not for profit organization and a health insurance enrollment coordinator, will review some vital aspects of this new program, such as the benefit plans available, how to apply for health insurance coverage and enroll in a plan that is right for you. She will also review Medicare and Medicaid program coverage under the Affordable Care Act, the Community Council said in a press release.
