Levittown Crime Report: Attempted Burglary, Car Stolen and Rock Thrown Through Window

A look at recent crime in Levittown, reported by the Nassau County Police Department.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct. 

- Sometime between 10 p.m. on Oct. 18 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 19, an Airborne Bowtech was stolen from a car on Bloomingdale Road.

- Sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 15 and 5 a.m. on Oct. 16, a Garmin GPS was stolen from a car on The Plains Road.

- Sometime between 2 p.m. on Oct. 18 and 10:15 a.m. on Oct. 19, a 9.8 HP outboard motor was stolen from a car on Celestial Lane. 

- Sometime between 11 p.m. on Oct. 19 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 20, rear tires were punctured on a car on Carnation Road.

- Sometime between 11 p.m. on Oct. 21 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 22, a window was broken from a thrown rock, on Shepard Lane. 

- At 3:25 a.m. on Oct. 19, an attempted burglary occurred at the Beverage Barn at 2080 Front Street in East Meadow. No loss was reported. 

-  Sometime between 6 p.m. on Oct. 19 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 21, eight power tools were stolen on Miller Place. 

- Sometime between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Oct. 20, assorted beef was stolen from a home on Ridge Lane. 

- Sometime between 11 a.m. on Oct. 15 and 12 p.m. on Oct. 17, a 2004 Mercury was stolen outside senior citizen housing on Newbridge Road.
