Levittown Fire Department Holds Annual Memorial Golf Tournament
Funds raised go towards scholarships for active firefighters and fire medics.
The Levittown Fire Department's Ronald T. Kerwin / Kevin J. Sutch Memorial Golf Tournament was held on Thursday, June 6.
The event was played at the Nassau County Eisenhower Park Blue Course in East Meadow. Afterwards everyone went to Jackie Reilly's Restaurant in Levittown for dinner and an awards presentation.
The remarkable part of the afternoon was the 8th hole, where in two different foursomes John Hillen and Richard Young each scored a Hole-In-One.
The funds raised from this tournament are used to award scholarships to active volunteer firefighters / fire medics within the 6th Battalion of our volunteer fire service.
