Two winners have been announced in the Levittown Community Council's third annual Halloween Horror House contest.
Judges Pat Patane and Frank McKenna were scared out of their wits by the extensive and spooky decorations at Carol and Don Mandracchia’s house on Tanager Lane in Levittown and the Silvierra Family’s house on Hunt Road in Wantagh.
Each year, the Council selects a house within the boundaries of the Levittown and Island Trees school districts that epitomizes the nature of All Hallows Eve or Halloween.

Next up for the Council is the annual Home for the Holidays contest in which seven beautifully decorated homes are selected, one in each section of the Levittown and Island Trees school district communities. Anyone who wishes to nominate a holiday decorated home, should send an e-mail with the owner’s name (if known) and address to levittowncouncil@yahoo.com or to Levittown Community Council, PO Box 294, Levittown, NY 11756. All entries will be viewed by our judges.
Anyone interested in volunteering to be a judge, should indicate so in an e-mail or note to those same addresses.
