Levittown High School Takes Home Wrestling Championship
The team defeated returning champion Massapequa 46-24 to win the county's Dual Meet Championships.

LEVITTOWN, NY — Levittown is home to the county's championship wrestling team. The General Douglas MacArthur High School varsity wrestling team earned the title of Division I dual meet champions following a perfect 17-0 season and No. 1 ranking, to boot.
The big win earned the team a spot at the state dual meet championship at SRC Arena in Syracuse.
Coach Rob Paletta's team beat Hicksville last month to reach the quarterfinals against Freeport, where they won 54-24.

In the semifinals, the Generals won a close match over Manhasset at 28-27. In the finals, the team defeated defending champion Massapequa 46-24.
The district congratulated the school's varsity wrestling team on its achievement.
