Superintendent of Schools Dr. James J. Grossane reported that the district’s opening was smooth and productive, and that everyone expressed excitement about returning to school.
“The students entered the campuses with smiles on their faces and teachers were ready to begin instruction immediately – a testament to the preparedness of administrators, teachers and support staff, as well as the eagerness of students,” he said. “On behalf of the district, I would like to extend a warm welcome to the school community and my best wishes for a productive academic year.”
