Levittown Schools Welcome New Teachers

LEVITTOWN, NY — More than two dozen new teachers joined the Levittown School District’s professional staff during a two-day orientation program on Aug. 25 and 26 at the Levittown Memorial Education Center. Administrators and board of education trustees welcomed 28 first-year faculty members, who will be teaching at the district at two high schools, two middle schools and six elementary schools.

Orientations including presentations from administrators about curriculum, district policies, special education, student mental health, technology and more. New teachers also received a bus tour of Levittown to see the district’s schools and other important locations in the community.
