
The top three award winners from Island Trees Memorial Middle School in the Nassau County Drug Awareness poster/essay content have been announced.
The contest is sponsored by Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano. Through the Students Against Destructive Decisions, students in Memorial Middle School submitted posters and essays.

Third Place - Gary Yao, 8th Grade
As the first place award winner, Selena was invited to a ceremony on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, in the Legislative Chambers of the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building. At the ceremony, Selena was awarded a Nook e-reader.
