Levittown Summer Picnic Features Music, Petting Zoo And Bounce House

LEVITTOWN, NY — With Sunday's forecast calling for it to feel like it's in the 90s, you may want to spend some time outdoors.

The Levittown Community Council’s Lazy Days of Summer Picnic might just fit the bill.

At the free event, kids can enjoy pony rides and a petting zoo. There will also be a bounce house, a children's fishing pond and a basketball contest.

DJ Tim Aldridge will provide the music. Bring your own picnic lunch, chairs or a blanket to maximize the enjoyment.

It runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the East Village Green.

Families are encouraged to donate non-perishable canned goods and toiletries for those in need.

The Levittown Chamber of Commerce is the leading sponsor of the picnic.
