Construction work on the new Walmart Market in Levittown is underway as the store is anticipated to open in July.
Workers were seen repaving the parking lot Wednesday. A new address sign and pharmacy sign have also been installed.
The former Walbaums is located at 3335 Hempstead Tpke. in the Levittown Mews Shopping Center.
Last week, the company announced that Nadine Negron has been named the store manager. The company also recently set up a hiring center at 152 Center Lane.
