Levittowner to Launch 'Over 40 Females' Long Island Chapter
The networking company was founded in 2010 and gives women a platform to 'connect, encourage and inspire.'

The nationwide networking company 'Over 40 Females' is coming to Long Island and will be run by one of Levittown's own.
With the goal of "empowering women through networking," the LI chapter will launch on June 17 with resident Barbara Pesce in charge, the company announced in a release.
Pesce said she is very honored to have been chosen. She is responsible for organizing educational networking events at least once a month and to get to know each and every member, to understand their goals and challenges in business and in life.
"With this knowledge, I can work to promote my members, their businesses, or their causes," she said. " I can connect them with each other and help them utilize the vast network of fabulous resources that Over 40 females and our founder, Judy Goss, have built."
Over 40 Females was founded in January 2010 by Goss, a former More Magazine editor and also national TV spokesperson for More. Gross traveled the country meeting hundreds of women over the age of 40 that wanted to be heard and celebrated.
She created Over 40 Females to give women a platform to be heard, to network and to encourage, with the motto "Connect, Encourage and Inspire."
"The warmth and support emanating from the women when you get them together is unbelievable!" Goss said. "It’s a place for women over the age of 40 to both show and get support, and also for businesses to reach out and touch this very powerful demographic.”
