LONG ISLAND, NY — Temperatures will be warm most of the week, but Long Islanders will also have to deal with a lot of rain, according to weather forecasts.
After a sunny start, rain is coming into the forecast for most of the week. According to the National Weather Service, rain is likely Tuesday and Wednesday.
Thursday will be clear and sunny, but rain could come back Friday.

Temperatures will be mild during that time, though. High's are predicted to be in the upper 50s for most of the week.

Tuesday: Rain likely, mainly after 1 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 57. Southeast wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
