LONG ISLAND, NY — After the whirlwind changes in weather during the week, this weekend Long Islanders can look forward to clear, sunny skies and mild temperatures.
After jumping from record highs to freezing, and then to a terrible mix of snow and sleet, Long Islanders are in for a reprieve. This weekend, according to the National Weather Service, temperatures should be above freezing during the day. Although Sunday will be breezy, which could make it feel colder.
The high for Saturday is predicted to be around 34 degrees, and up to 43 on Sunday. Nights will be cold, but it will be clear skies all weekend.

Things also look good going into next week. Temperatures will stay cool, but the skies will stay clear.
