LI Weekend Weather: Mild But Sunny Weekend For The Whole Island
It will be a great weekend to get outdoors, but it seems the summer temperatures are fading.

LONG ISLAND, NY — A cool Friday will lead into a mild but sunny weekend for Long Island.
According to the National Weather Service, the high for Friday will only be in the mid-70s, with an overnight low near 60. Things will get warmer on Saturday, but the high still won't hit 80.
Temperatures will continue to rise a bit, with a high on Sunday in the mid-80s, but that's where temperatures are going to stay for the next few days.

Skies will also be clear and sunny for the weekend. There's a chance of rain Monday afternoon and into Monday night, but it won't stay for long.
