LI Weekend Weather: Possible Thunderstorms, Then A Sunny Sunday
Rain is likely Saturday, with possible thunderstorms in the afternoon. But Sunday will be clear and sunny, and it will be warm all weekend.

LONG ISLAND, NY — Though today is undeniably beautiful, the rest of the weekend isn't going to be quite as nice. Long Island is likely to get rain on Saturday, though things should clear up on Sunday.
Thankfully, temperatures this weekend will still be warm, with highs in the upper 50s, according to the National Weather Service.
Rain could start early Saturday morning, the NWS said. The rain could be heavy at times, and there's a possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. But the skies will clear by Sunday, and it will be warm and sunny going into the new week.
