LONG ISLAND, NY — After a week of on-and-off rain, Long Islanders can look forward to a nice and sunny weekend, with pleasant temperatures to boot.

It's set to be sunny all weekend, with temperatures in the 60s, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will dip down into the upper 40s at night.

The nice weather will stick through into the new week, but rain will likely return Tuesday.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. South wind around 6 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 62. East wind 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 59.
