MacArthur Football Crushes Elmont at Homecoming, 33-14
Team moves to 4-3 in conference II with the win.

The MacArthur varsity football team took care of business at homecoming on Saturday, defeating Elmont by a score of 33-14.Â
Carmine Criscione rushed for 152 yards on 23 carries, while Mike Rothberg made 14 tackles for MacArthur. Jimmy Kelleher scored a two-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, while Paul Giuliano caught a nine-yard pass from Kelleher in the first half to give MacArthur a 20-8 lead. Kelleher ended up throwing for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
With the win, MacArthur moves to 4-3 in conference II, tied for fourth place with Long Beach and Elmont.Â
MacArthur faces Long Beach at home on Tuesday, 7 p.m. in a crucial game for both teams. The season finale is Saturday, Nov. 2 at Carey, 1:30 p.m.
