MacArthur High School Student Named Top Pitcher

MacArthur High School’s Adam Heidenfelder has been selected as First Team All-State in baseball. The varsity baseball pitcher was also chosen from 56 county teams as the recipient of the Nassau County Coaches Association Diamond Award as Nassau County’s top pitcher. 

During the Oct. 9 Board of Education meeting, Adam was recognized for his athletic ability and sportsmanship.

In addition to being an exceptional athlete, coach Steve Costello described Adam as “an outstanding young man and a fantastic student.”

Adam has received a scholarship to attend and play for Hofstra University, a Division I team, next fall.
