MacArthur Senior Selected For National Justice Program
Vincent D'Antone selected for National Academy of Law and Justice out of a pool of candidates from across the country.

LEVITTOWN, NY — Vincent J. D’Antone, a senior at General Douglas MacArthur High School, was selected from a national pool of applicants to participate in the National Academy of Law and Justice in Washington, D.C., which presents an opportunity to explore studies related to law and justice.
While in D.C., Vincent met with the United States Capital Police, United States Secret Service, the Drug Enforcement Agency and many others. He participated in forensics courses at the International Spy Museum and National Law Enforcement Museum. The academy also had courses in homeland security, constitutional law, modern policing issues and many other topics.
Students are selected to attend the academy from a national application process that identifies students with a passion for law and justice, excellence in academics as well as leadership. The National Academy is sponsored by the Law and Public Safety Education Network, a non-profit that supports educational programs nationwide.
