Man Arrested in Levittown for Oxycodone Possession, Suspended License
Police said the man also broke into several parked cars at Miller's Ale House, ran red light.

Nassau County Police said they arrested a Bethpage man in Levittown after he broke into several cars outside Miller's Ale House, ran a steady red traffic light and was found in possession with Oxycodone pills with no prescription.
According to detectives, on Saturday at 1:40 a.m., police observed Michael Bower, 33, exiting his car at Miller's and trying to open the doors of several parked cars. Bower then drove away eastbound on Hempstead Tpke., where he passed a steady red traffic light, according to police.
Bower was then pulled over by police, when an officer observed a bottle containing Oxycodone pills on the front seat, which police said the defendant had no prescription. The officer then saw a pocketbook, DVD player, cell phone and prescription medication which did not belong to Bower, police said.
A check of Bower's drivers license revealed he was operating with a suspended license, according to police.
Bower is charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property and one count in the fourth degree, second degree aggravated unlicensed operation and passing a steady red traffic signal light.
The defendant will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Saturday, May 18.
