Nassau Man Installed Hidden Camera In Women's Bathroom: Police
Police say the man secretly recorded more than a dozen women.

LEVITTOWN, NY — An Elmont man was arrested on Tuesday after police say it was discovered he had installed a camera in a women's bathroom in Levittown.
According to police, a woman entered the bathroom at Hunter Business School, located at 3601 Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown. She saw what she thought was a cell phone charger plugged into the wall next to the toilet. As she was leaving, the woman looked at the cable and saw there was a camera lens and a slot for a SD card.
The police were notified. Police say their investigation led them to Shehzad Asif, 37, of Kingston Street, Elmont. He was arrested without incident.

Asif is charged with 13 counts of second-degree unlawful surveillance. He is scheduled to be arraigned later today in First District Court in Hempstead.
