Nassau Man Menaced Car Of People With Gun: Police
Police said the man, who had previous gun-related arrests, pointed a gun at a car full of people while driving.

BETHPAGE, NY — A Nassau County man was arrested Sunday after police said he threatened a car full of people with a gun.
Kyle Gritser, 19, of Hicksville, was driving east on Old Country Road in Bethpage at 11:35 p.m. on Sunday when police said he pointed a gun at another car. There were four people in the other car, ages 18, 19, 20 and 21, but no one was injured.
Gritser was found at his home at 12:45 a.m. on Monday and arrested without incident. Police did not find a gun.

Gritser was charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, as well as an open warrant for possession of fireworks. He is scheduled to be arraigned later today in First District Court in Hempstead.
He was previously arrested on May 11, 2022 and charged with criminal possession of an assault weapon, police said, as well as on May 12, 2022 and charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm. He was released without bail both times, police said.
