Police: 27 Heart Rate Monitors Stolen from Sports Authority

A look at recent crime in Levittown, reported by the Nassau County Police Department.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct. 

- On Oct. 24 at 4:45 p.m., police said that 27 assorted heart rate monitors were stolen from Sports Authority in Levittown. 

- Sometime between 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 29, a wallet was stolen from a car outside Michael's. 

- On Oct. 28 at 12:25 p.m., a side door was kicked in with no loss reported on Twig Lane. 

- Sometime between Oct. 2 and Oct. 24, assorted hand, power and electric tools were stolen from a car on Griddle Lane. 

- On Oct. 25 at 4:15 p.m., a handbag was stolen at Wendy's. 

- On Oct. 23 at 9:25 p.m., cash was stolen from the register at Asian Cafe. More details on that incident can be found here.
