Board of Education Meeting

Property Owners Meeting

The Levittown Property Owners Association will hold their monthly meeting Tuesday, September 10 at the Levittown Library, Bluegrass Lane entrance. Check back Tuesday for a look at the agenda. 

September 11 Anniversary 

Italian Football Wedding

Italian Football Wedding at Levittown Hall -  this event is being held as a fundraiser for the Long Island Columbus Day Parade. The cost is $22.50 per person and includes sandwiches, salads, dessert, coffee, beer and soda. More details can be found here. 

Public Hearing on Crocus Lane

On April 10, The Town of Hempstead Board of Appeals allowed variances to the LPRD code, permitting four non-conforming homes and a shared driveway on the Crocus Lane property in Levittown. The variance was requested under the conditions that “there shall be no further subdivision of the subject (4) lot parcel at any time.”

However, the company which owns the property, Josato, Inc., has filed a notice of a public hearing to further subdivide the property, according to the LPOA.

The public hearing will be held on Thursday, September 12, 10 a.m. at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive & Legislative Building in Mineola. Stay with Patch for the story.
