Teachers Aide Charged with Inappropriate Relationship with Disabled Student
The Levittown resident allegedly had inappropriate relationship with a student at Henry Viscardi School.

A teachers aide at the Henry Vicardi School in Albertson has been arrested and charged with having an inappropriate relationship with one of the disabled students.
According to detectives from the Third Precinct, Ivone Oliviera, 34, of Levittown, while working at the school for students with various physical disabilities on I.U. Willets Road, in January 2013, Oliviera displayed inappropriate physical contact with one of the students, hugging and kissing him. An investigation discovered the she had also sent the student text messages and photos from her phone which was of a sexual manner.
Oliviera was arrested on May 16 at 7:25 p.m. and charged with endangering the welfare of a disabled person. She will be arraigned on Friday, May 17 at First District Court in Hempstead.
