Two Women Arrested for Levittown Target Robbery
The incident occurred on March 26; both suspects charged with second degree robbery.

Nassau County Police said they have arrested two women in connection with a robbery that occurred at the Levittown Target on March 26.
According to detectives, while inside the Target at 3850 Hempstead Turnpike, one woman placed three women’s bathing suits into her pocketbook as the second woman watched for security. As both subjects approached the exit doors, the 27-year-old security guard attempted to detain them, according to police.
The subjects resisted as the second subject tried to choke the 27-year-old victim, police said. They then fled the scene in a red Jeep Wrangler. There were no reported injuries in the incident.
The investigation led to the arrest of Christina E. Pernell, 24, of Amityville on May 15, and Myeshia Reeves, 28, of Central Islip on May 22.
Defendants Pernell and Reeves are both charged with second degree robbery. Pernell was arraigned on May 16, 2013 and defendant Reeves will be arraigned on May 23, 2013 at First District Court, Hempstead.
