Adult Summer Reading Program
Register until July 22, 2013
“Groundbreaking Books” are waiting for you to register and start reading for our Third Annual Summer Adult Reading program. Registration began June 19th and ends July 22nd. Sign up for the summer reading program via the library’s website www.nassaulibrary.org/levtown or in person at the Reference Desk. Upon registration you will receive a prize.
If you register from home, you may stop by the Reference Desk to pick up your prize. After reading and submitting reviews for three books, another prize will be awarded. All reviews must be submitted by Wednesday, Aug. 7 to be eligible for prize drawing.
The program ends Aug. 14 with an End of Summer Reading Program Party from 7:00-9:00 p.m., with an author, drawings for prizes and refreshments. On-going registration by phone or in-person at the Reference Desk for the Party.

Landmarks & Historic Sites of Long Island
Monday, July 15, at 7:00 p.m.
There are so many places of interest on Long Island that are wonderful to visit in the summertime. Join author/historian Ralph Brady while he guides you on a journey to fascinating parts of Long Island.
Through a light historic commentary and extensive collection of current and vintage photographs, Mr. Brady will outline the history of more than 50 historic sites that will encourage you to begin your own summer journey of Long Island.
Registration required. No fee.
