Veterans Day, Board of Education and Property Owners Meeting

Veterans Day: Today is the public holiday, which is held on the anniversary of the end of World War I (Nov. 11) and honors US veterans and victims of all wars. The Levittown Library is closed Monday, along with schools and government offices such as the post office.

Garbage Pickup Schedule Changed:  Please note that garbage collection dates have changed due to Veterans Day. If your regular garbage collection schedule is Monday/Thursday, pickup is now Tuesday and Thursday, and if your regular collection is on Tuesday and Friday, pickup is now Wednesday and Friday. 

Bowling Special: Bowl with a Veteran and get an hour of unlimited rent-a-lane bowling for free on Monday. Family and friends must bowl with one Veteran per lane, up to five people per lane. This special take place up to 5 p.m.at South Levittown Lanes, located at 56 Tanners Lane.

School Board Meeting: The Levittown Board of Education holds a regular meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Stay with Patch for a look at what's on the agenda and for coverage of the meeting. 

Property Owners Meeting: The Levittown Property Owners holds a meeting on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. at the Levittown Library.
