Annual St. John's Lutheran Barn Dance Set for Saturday

31st annual event features a full night of country music with square and line dancing.

St. John's Lutheran Church will be hosting its annual Barn Dance this Saturday at the Fireman's Park Pavilion.

The annual dance, now in its 31st year, is open to the public ages 16 and up for a night full of square dancing, line dancing and cowboy boots.

James Reams and the Barn Stormers, a live square dance band from Brooklyn, will be on hand at the pavilion to get you yippin' and hollerin' all night long. Popular Square Dance caller Don Coy will also be on hand to help folks get in the dancing spirit.

In addition, there will be a Sheriff, jail, mock wedding ceremonies, door prizes and raffles for the evening full of fun.

Food including heroes, salads, snacks and drinks will be provided at the event. Alcohol will not be allowed to be brought to facility.

The event will cost $25 per person and gets underway at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
