At The Library: CPR Training, Book Discussion, Guided Tour

Our local libraries are a source of both knowledge and entertainment, with informational and education events being hosted throughout the week.

The Lindenhurst Memorial Library often hosts these events for little or no charge, so check out the top events going on this week.

• Get in on a book discussion this Wednesday – "The Lobster Chronicles: Life on a Very Small Island" by Linda Greenlaw will be up for thoughts starting at 1 p.m.
• Just moved to town? New to libraries in general? Getting lost in the endless rows of books? No sweat, join the librarians for a guided tour of the facility on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
• If it's time to build a website for your business or organization, stop by on Thursday for computer class and learn how to make a website using Adobe Dreamweaver at 6:30 p.m.
• Learning CPR can save so many lives – come learn a skill that is easy to remember and a key to first aid worldwide on Saturday at 10 a.m.
