At The Library: Outdoor Concert, Free Movie on Thurs.

Our local libraries are a source of both knowledge and entertainment, with informational and education events being hosted throughout the week.

The Lindenhurst Memorial Library often hosts these events for little or no charge, so check out the top events going on this week.

• The library will host Mother Goose Time on Wednesday, August 14 at 9:45 a.m. for babies and toddlers up to 35 months with an adult. The free program includes informal playtime, songs, rhymes and finger-play.
• Kids' Bingo will take place on Wednesday, August 14 at 2 p.m. for children in grades K through Eight. Come on down and try to win books and other great prizes!
  
• The library will host The East End Trio for an Outdoor Concert on Wednesday, August 14 at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
• "Admission" will this week's Free Thursday Movie starting at 1:30 p.m. The movie is rated PG-13 and stars Tina Fey and Paul Rudd.
  
• Families with children ages two to eight are invited for Picnic and Playtime at the library on Thursday, August 15 at 6:30 p.m.
