At The Library: Star Trek, Senior ID Cards

Our local libraries are a source of both knowledge and entertainment, with informational and education events being hosted throughout the week.

The Lindenhurst Memorial Library often hosts these events for little or no charge, so check out the top events going on this week.

• Senator Phil Boyle & Town Clerk Carol Quirk will be helping sponsor a free Senior I.D. Card program at the library on Tuesday at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• The library will host a free showing of the 2013 movie Star Trek Into Darkness starting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
• The AARP will be hosting a Driver Safety Program at the library on Friday at 9:30 a.m. $17 for AARP members and $19 for non-members.
