In Mayers' presentation he'll outline how the number one cause of business failure is planning - either a lack of planning or bad planning. Nine out of 10 business failures are due to a lack of experience in business operations, according to Mayers.

He'll also share best practices for business start-ups at different phases on the path to success.

Both events are free of charge, but attendees are expected to pay for their own dinner and drinks.

The Blue Lagoon is located at 677 Route 109 in Lindenhurst/West Babylon.
