Back to School Supply Lists for Lindenhurst Kindergarteners

The Lindenhurst School District has posted supply lists for all incoming Kindergartens beginning their 13-year journey through the school system this fall.

Make sure your little student is headed to Kindergarten at Albany Avenue, Allegheny Avenue, Daniel Street, Harding Avenue, William Rall or West Gates with the right supplies by using our simplified lists below.

Albany Avenue Elementary

• Two (2) 100-page marble composition notebooks
• Two (2) folders with pockets on the bottom
• Two (2) boxes of Crayola crayons (24-count)
• Twenty (20) glue sticks
• One (1) bottle of white Elmer's Glue
• Two (2) Highlighters
• One (1) box of tissues
• One (1) package of baby wipes
• One (1) bottle of anti-bacterial liquid hand soap
• One (1) smock

Allegheny Avenue Elementary

• One (1) old, large pullover shirt for Art labeled with your child's name
• Ten (10) glue sticks
• One (1) pair of Fiscar scissors
• One (1) package of washable, broadtip markers with your child's name on each marker
• One (1) pack of dry-erase, low odor markers
• One (1) family size box of tissues
• Four (4) boxes of unscented baby wipes
• One (1) box of gallon-sized Ziploc bags
• One (1) plastic coated folder with bottom pockets with your child's name,
• One (1) black and white composition notebook (for Mrs. Bowden's class only)
• One (1) backpack big enough to fit your child's winter coat in. No rolling backpacks.

Daniel Street Elementary

• Two (2) black and white composition notebooks
• Three (3) heavy duty plastic folders with bottom pockets
• 24 sharpened pencils
• Two (2) boxes of 16-count Crayola crayons
• Two (2) large bottles of Elmer's glue
• One (1) pair of Fiskar safety scissors ‐ no points
  One (1) large, old pullover shirt for art. (Please put it in a large Ziploc baggie with name attached.)

• One (1) art smock with child's name written on it.
• One (1) pair of Fiskar's for Kids scissors labeled with child's name.

• Two (2) boxes of 8-count Crayola crayons
• Two (2) boxes of 24-count Crayola crayons
• Four (4) boxes of baby wipes
• Eight (8) small glue sticks
• One (1) large box of tissues
• Boys only: One (1) box of gallon-size Ziploc bags
• Boys only: One (1) box of sandwich-size Ziploc bags
• Girls only: One (1) package of large white paper plates
• Girls only: One (1) pump bottle of hand sanitizer

William Rall Elementary

• Backpack big enough to fit your child's winter coat in. (No rolling backpacks.)

West Gates Elementary
