Child Pornography Charges For Long Island Man: Police
A Long Island man was arrested on Wednesday for possession of child pornography, according to Suffolk County police.

LINDENHURST, NY — A Long Island man was arrested on Wednesday for possession of child pornography, according to Suffolk County police.
Suffolk County Police Digital Forensics Unit detectives investigated Brian Woehr, 40, of Lindenhurst, after receiving a tip from the New York State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, police said.
Police said after executing a search warrant at his home on Wednesday around 8:16 p.m., they arrested Woehr and seized several electronic devices and numerous images containing child pornography.

Woehr was charged with two felonies, including promoting a sexual performance by a child and possession of a sexual performance of a child under 16, police said.
He was held overnight at the First Precinct and is slated to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Thursday, police said.
