The beach is closed until further notice due to excess levels of bacteria, Suffolk County Health Department says.

COPIAGUE, NY — Another Suffolk County beach has been closed for bathing, the Suffolk County Health Department announced on Wednesday.
Venetian Shores Beach in Copiague has closed to bathing due to the finding of bacteria at levels in excess of acceptable criteria, the department said.
