Updated Location: Donated Pet Food Distributed Today at Wellwood Grille
The North Shore Animal League has food for pets and their owners affected by Hurricane Sandy, now at Wellwood Grille on South Wellwood Avenue.
Update, November 14, 11:45 a.m.: According to NSALA volunteer Kristina Miller-Gonzalvo Lindenhurst Patch's Facebook page here, the location for this donation event has been moved to Wellwood Grille, which is under new management and scheduled to open this week.

North Shore Animal League of America will be distributing donated pet food at Shore Road Park today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Shore Road Park is located between Cedar Place and Arctic Street, South of Montauk Highway.
According to NSALA volunteer Kristina Miller-Gonzalvo, who posted on Lindenhurst Patch's Facebook page, "North Shore Animal League will be donating dog and cat food Wednesday, November 14, at Shore Road Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please come down and get some food for the pets who were affected by Sandy. If you know of someone who cannot pick it up please inbox me and we can set up some deliveries. Volunteers are needed."

The NSALA said Miller-Gonzalvo offered Lindenhurst as an area that could use this type of help following Hurricane Sandy.
