Drunk Driver Slams Into North Lindy Used Car Lot
Over a dozen cars and a utility pole were damaged by crash.

An allegedly drunk driver slammed their vehicle into a used car dealer's lot on Route 109 in North Lindenhurst early Tuesday morning, damaging a dozen cars and toppling a utility pole.
Suffolk County Police said the crash occurred at around 3:51 a.m. at the United Auto Mall lot between Robbins Street and Bedell Street on Route 109 on the North Lindenhurst-West Babylon border.
Police said the driver, who was not identified, plowed his 2007 Infiniti into the lot after losing control of the vehicle. The Infiniti hit a pole and over a dozen cars were damaged by the impact or flying debris.
The unidentified driver attempted to flee the scene, but police caught him blocks away from the crash site.
