Empty in Lindenhurst: Old Bounce 'n' Party Place
Tell us what you'd like to see in this business space in Lindenhurst.
A sure sign of the tough economic times is the number of For Sale and For Rent signs you see in the Village and North Lindenhurst.
If you go down Wellwood Avenue, Sunrise Highway, Hoffman Avenue, Montauk Highway or other major roads in the area, residents are sure to find a few.
During the next few months Lindenhurst Patch is going to some of those properties and ask you what you'd like to see in there.

The purpose is to foster discussion in the community on what can, should and could be done to rehab these vacant spaces.
This week Patch is looking at the space formerly occupied by the old Let's Bounce 'n' Party in the same row of stores as Steakhouse on North Wellwood Avenue.

Before it was a place for families to take their kids and have birthday parties for them there, it was a Payless Shoe Source location that was there for a number of years
It moved in a little while after Payless moved to another location on Sunrise Highway in Amityville (which has since closed, too).
Since Let's Bounce 'n' Party shut its doors at this location the storefront's remained vacant.
And, like the across the way in the same shopping center in North Lindenhurst, it has a "For Lease" sign by Sabre Real Estate, which is based in Garden City.
The sign, which has been hanging for a while now, includes Sabre's website, sabreny.com, and number: 516-364-2900.
