Lindenhurst BOE Recognizes 58 AP Scholars

LINDENHURST, NY — The Lindenhurst School Union Free School District is recognizing students for their extraordinary performances on Advanced Placement Program exams.

At the conclusion of the 2021-2022 school year, the College Board recognized Lindenhurst High School junior and senior students as Advanced Placement Scholars for their extraordinary performance on Advanced Placement Program exams.

At a Nov. 16 meeting, the school board celebrated 58 of the Advanced Placement Scholars who are now seniors at Lindenhurst High School.

The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program offers academically excelling students an opportunity to enroll in college-level courses while still in high school to earn college credit. It also recognizes varying levels of achievement based on students’ performance on the course exams.
