Lindenhurst Celebrates Bulldog School Spirit at Homecoming
Lindy Football Stars Have Resounding 34-0 Victory
Lindenhurst High School, and the wider Lindenhurst community, held their annual homecoming celebration on October 26th. It was a grand display of Lindy Bulldog school spirit, as hundreds gathered for the homecoming parade, and subsequent game in which the Football Bulldogs triumphed in a resounding 34-0 victory.
Each school and high school class in the District was represented in the parade, featuring floats with themes from classic board games such as Clue, Jumanji, Operation, Twister, and Monopoly. Students were joined by local Lindenhurst representatives in the procession down Wellwood Avenue, toward the fields at Alleghany Elementary School, with the Lindenhurst High School seniors and the homecoming king and queen, Liam Chambers and Angelina Rudy coming up the rear.
The enormous celebration of school spirit was capped with a football game against Patchogue-Medford, in which the Lindenhurst Bulldogs came out on top.
