Lindenhurst Community Cares Meeting This Wed. Night
Group looking to help make the village safer and healthier meeting this week.
The Lindenhurst Community Cares group will be holding its second meeting this Wednesday, August 21, at Fireman's Park Pavilion.
The group, made up of local parents, school board members, government officials and people from every kind of background in the village, is dedicated to helping make Lindenhurst safer, healthier and drug-free.
The previous meeting included representatives from local group trying to help the area go drug-free as well as members of the school board, neighborhood watches and the Suffolk County Police Department.
All members of the community are welcome to join the meeting and give some input.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Fireman's Park Pavilion, at 98 Hartford Street, on Wednesday.
