Suffolk Deli Clerk Charged With Selling Alcohol To Minor: PD

The Village of Lindenhurst also issued several summonses for fire code violations and shut down the business.

LINDENHURST, NY — A man was arrested and charged on Friday, after he sold alcohol to a minor in Lindenhurst, Suffolk County police said.

Abodhaibah Ebrahim, 43, of the Bronx, was charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and no liquor license on display, police said.

After receiving numerous community complaints, officers conducted an investigation into the sale of alcohol to minors at 168 Deli, located at 168B Montauk Highway, at
about 3:10 p.m.

Ebrahim, the clerk, sold White Claws to a person less than 21 years old, police said.

He was issued two field appearance tickets and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
