Lindenhurst Village Plans To Add Pickeball Courts To Village Park
The courts will be part of a renovation project that will also upgrade the existing tennis and basketball courts at the park.

LINDENHURST, NY—Lindenhurst Village is joining the pickleball craze. Village officials announced on Friday that the tennis and basketball courts at Village Park will be renovated and two pickleball courts will be added.
The project will begin in late October.
Village Park is location at North Alleghany Avenue between Byrd and Charles streets.

Trustee RJ Renna said in a news release from the Village that “pickleball is a growing sport and these courts will provide a central location in our Village for residents to play this game.”
Pickleball has been growing in popularity around Long Island, especially in the Town of Babylon, where Babylon Village recently hosted a tournament.
