Lindy Resident Wins $25K on Scratch-Off Game
Barbara Sagesser of Lindenhurst wins $25,000 on a New York Lottery scratch-off game.
As the Powerball jackpot swells to more than half billion dollars, the number of overall jackpot winners this year from Lindenhurst has grown once again.
Barbara Sagesser of Lindenhurst won $25,000 on the New York Lottery's Hot Cash scratch-off game.
Sagesser's winning ticket was purchased at the Stop and Shop at 2450 Jerusalem Avenue in North Bellmore, Lottery officials said in a release about the Lindy native's win.

In addition to Sagesser, other lucky Lindy jackpot winners this year include Nikolaie Haidu, Melissa Mainiero, John Tighe, Joseph Silverstein, Patricia Magliaro, Israel Esquenazi, Antonia Savona, Robert Libby, Maria Biscarr, Sylvia Anderson, Peter Roth, David Salegna, Bruce Magistro and David D'Amore.
All of these residents have hit it big in the New York Lottery by purchasing various drawing and scratch-off tickets from local businesses.
